Ok guys... I had an idea at 5:30AM. It just so happens I am currently obsessed with the song "99 Red Balloons" song by Goldfinger. So while starring at my glow-in-the-dark stars stuck to my ceiling, and listening to this awesome song, I came up with a project.

It will mostly up to you guys, the Deviants, whether this project gets off the ground... for I will only have a small part in this. So here's my proposal...

DESCRIPTION: Everyone will draw a character (preferably an original character), with 1 red balloon. I don't care what they are doing with it! That's up to you. But in your description I want you to explain what your balloon is filled with. Yes, balloons are full of air and helium. I'm talking more on a personal note. Fill that balloon with an emotion, a feeling, positive or negative. This has the potential to be a very emotional project. The more open people are, the more dramatic of a collection we will have in the end.

For example:
~ you could fill your balloon with joy, in which your character could be enjoying their balloon because everyone wants to be happy.
~ you could fill your ballon with anger, in which your character could be releasing their balloon because being angry doesn't do you any good.

These are very vague examples, I want to see some major creativity here! There is a kaleidoscope or emotions in the world, don't necessarily use the most common ones! But have that emotion apply to your life.

RULES:
1.) Submit your entry titled as: "99 Red Balloons Project" (without the quotation marks... if DA even lets you use them). Also make the key words the same as the title.
2.) I want the balloons to be RED guys... like the title implies.
3.) In your description you must explain what emotion you chose to fill your ballon with and why you chose it. Pick only one emotion to fill your balloon with please! Also, I want the balloon to be filled with an emotion that applies to yourself. This is supposed to be a personal project... you're character is just aiding in your expression.
4.) Once you submit your work, send me a note with a link to your entry. I will slowly be forming a list at the bottom of this Journal. That way, everyone can see each other's work! Also, I will list the entries in order of submission time.
5.) There are no artistic limitations! You can use any medium on any sized paper/wood/cardboard/wall/etc. This includes photography. If you're a photographer, don't feel like you have to draw a character, take a photo of someone with a balloon; or is your a sculptor, sculpt something (all of the ideals behind the balloon remain the same).
6.) If you plan of doing this Project, advertise it! The goal is to get (at least) 99 entries. Quite frankly I know no where near that amount of people will read my Journal. So if you could post the following in a Journal, I would really appreciate it!
